Welcome to your New Custom Home in Cedar City! We have planned everything for you and are ready for your family to move in. Our home building process starts with at design as we work closely with you to make sure It’s just right. Enjoy following the story of this home that was featured in a recent Cedar City Parade of Homes.
Building a custom new home begins with a dream. So we started building with a rendering, a floor plan and, of course, a fully engineered and permitted set of drawings.
These were created using our Design Build Process and when we were finished, our customers were introduced to their new dream home.
We begin by walking just inside the entry and looking back to the red door showing the entry chandelier and the raised ceiling with dormers. And before we show you more, this would be a perfect time to introduce you to the homeowner who will share their building experience with Choice Builders.
So now we continue to walk into the custom house where we see the Dining Room showing the blue ship lap wall and custom dining chandelier. The Dining Room has a natural transition into the kitchen. We are showing the blue ship lap feature wall and the large kitchen with red accents.
When building a custom home, we need to always look at the big picture as well as all the fine details. This Kitchen Island has some fine design details including a chipped granite edge. Backing away provides for the breadth of the kitchen including its Universal Design elements.
Next we head over to the Master Bedroom. The king-sized bed is framed by two windows. The second picture of the Master Bedroom shows a reverse angle with a feature wall.
Now let’s take a moment imagining you looking out the windows of the above bedroom and being able to fly above the house and see the expansive landscape.
Now we continue with the Master Bathroom Shower. It is has tile to the ceiling with a glass deco band and a granite bench. There is a very minimal step into the shower. Included is a window for natural light. A primary focus of this construction project are hidden aging-in-place features. For instance, the decorative slide bar with the shower head and handheld is not only beautiful and functional, but is also ADA certified, meaning it is a rated grab-bar in the event of a slip in the shower.
Following is a well-organized laundry room. There is space to work, the cabinets are simple and the color of the machines adds a nice flavor to the room too.
And here we see this new custom home as night has fallen.
And now a new day arises for the homeowners that had Choice Builders build their new home.
We couldn’t resist transitioning back to the house with these bright eloquent accents in the dining room.
The story until now has focused on the beautiful cosmetics of this home built by Choice Builders. But another key aspect why people choose to have us build for them is our focus on Energy Efficiency. In this next picture is a dark bronze metal eyebrow over three Energy Star Certified windows trimmed in integral color stucco. The Engineered stone wall is insulated to an R35 assembly and the dark bronze aluminum soffit has LED accent lights for graceful night lighting. This home is extremely energy efficient and needs very little exterior maintenance.
